Choose Your Silencer
Tell us what firearm, caliber and type of shooting you plan to do. We will help you select the right silencer for hunting, target shooting, predator control, rimfire or general use.
Create Your ATF eForms Account
You will need an ATF eForms account before the application can be submitted. Keep track of your username, password and four-digit PIN.
Important: Your ATF eForms username is emailed to you and is not necessarily your email address. Your PIN is used when you digitally certify the application.Digital Fingerprints and Photo
Mattson Munitions can capture your digital fingerprints and passport-style photo during the purchase process. We can retain the files for future purchases and provide you with copies for your own records.
Complete and Submit the Paperwork
We help prepare the required ATF Form 4 application and guide you through the electronic certification process. We also help explain the difference between applying as an individual or through a trust.
Wait for ATF Approval
After the application is submitted, it goes to the ATF for review. Processing times can vary. When approval is received, Mattson Munitions will contact you and arrange the final transfer.
Final Transfer and Form 4473
Once your application is approved, you will complete the final ATF Form 4473 and any required transfer paperwork at Mattson Munitions. After the transfer is completed, you can take your silencer home.
