At Mattson Munitions, we offer more than just great equipment. From NFA processing to custom setups and laser engraving, we're here to help you get the most out of your firearms experience.
Transfer Fees
Firearm Transfers
- $40 for the first firearm
- $10 for each additional firearm transferred to the same customer on the same Form 4473
Digital NFA Fingerprints & Photo
$65
Includes:
- Digital EFT fingerprint file
- Passport-style digital photo
- Reusable files sent directly to the customer
Outside NFA Transfers
- $100 for the first NFA item
- $75 for each additional NFA item transferred to the same customer and processed together
Includes assistance with ATF eForms and secure storage while the application is being processed.

No NFA transfer fee
A $20 NFA processing package covers:
- Digital fingerprints
- Passport-style photo
- ATF eForms assistance
- Secure storage during the approval process
We make buying a suppressor simple. Fingerprints, photos and ATF eForms are completed right here at Mattson Munitions.
NFA Digital Fingerprinting
Purchasing a suppressor requires certified digital fingerprinting as part of the ATF application process. We provide quick, certified digital fingerprinting right here in our shop. We walk you through every step of the process, including eForm submission and ATF trust assistance, so nothing gets missed.
ATF eForm Process
- Create an ATF eForms Account - The customer must create an account at eForms.atf.gov before they can submit any forms.
- Note Your Username - The username is not the customer's email address. It is assigned by the ATF and will follow the format of initials/last name followed by numbers (e.g., JDoe1234).
Registration Form: https://eforms.atf.gov/register/update-profile?isRegistration=true - Set Up Your PIN - The customer creates their own PIN during the account setup process. This will be needed to submit forms.
- Submit the Required Form - Once the account is set up with the username and PIN, you are ready. This is the information you’ll need to have ready when you’re here to eSign your NFA documents.
- Wait for ATF Processing - After submission, the customer will need to wait for ATF approval. Current wait times can be checked at: https://www.atf.gov/resource-center/current-processing-times
